Please only apply if you are in college or a college graduate with tutoring or teaching experience and you will be available for a full school year (September – June). We will contact you by email if we have an opening for your subject area to schedule an interview. The more subjects you can tutor the better. Math and science are our most requested subjects but we do have a lot of students looking for elementary tutoring, English, and foreign language tutoring. Internet access and reliable transportation are required.
Tutors must be available for an entire school year (September – June). Tutoring takes place in students homes or at a mutually agreed upon location such as a library or office. Tutors must be willing to drive up to 20 minutes (from their home or work address) to meet with students. Other factors include your availability, and our demand which more or less follows the school calendar.
We offer competitive pay and flexible hours. Tutors work part-time as independent contractors (1099). We will not withhold taxes and will not report your income to the IRS unless you earn more than $600 in a calendar year.
